Portland, Ct W/F

Portland, Ct responded to 10 Freedom Way on 3/27/10 at 1151 hours for this working fire in a 1 story ranch house. Firefighters rescued 1 occupant who was transported to the hospital. Firefighters also had to contend with liquid oxygen tanks that were found in the home and as you can see in the pictures at least one of the tanks split. One firefighter was also transported to the hospital. Unknown injuries on both parties. Middletown Engine 1 responded on mutual aid to the fire.
