East Hartford, Ct 3rd alarm 10/26/13

East Hartford, Ct responded to 118 Main St. on 10/26/13 for the report of a basement fire. On Engine 5's arrival they reported smoke showing and transmitted the W/F. Car 3 requested a second ladder to the scene before his arrival. With companies making a search for both the fire and occupants the members came across an occupant in the attic apartment and removed the occupant just before the top floor lit up. Mutual aid from Glastonbury and Manchester assisted at the scene with Hartford covering station 1.
