Manchester, Ct 2nd alarm 10 /24/14

On 10/24/14 @2250 hours Manchester, Ct responded to 77 Laurel St for smoke in the basement. Car 5 arrived to heavy smoke showing and struck the working fire. Members had a heavy smoke condition thru out the 2 1/2 story wood frame with fire rolling the basement ceiling. A 2nd alarm was struck when the fire extended to floor's #1 and #2. Mutual aid from the 8th District and East Hartford assisted at the scene.
