Vernon, Ct 3rd alarm 12/20/20

Vernon, Ct was toned out for a fire alarm at 26 Union St on 12/20/20 at 10:43. Within a minute of tones going out the dispatch center started receiving calls of a building fire with people trapped. Two people were rescued with 1 over a ground ladder. The fire started in an apartment on floor 2 with extension to floor 3. Companies were able to knock the fire down without extension into the attic. Numerous mutual aid assisted at the scene.
